However, two major challenges need to be addressed: improving its barrier properties and increasing production rates to become more competitive.\u00a0<\/b><\/span><\/p>

Today, there is a global increase in demand, but the AGEC law, its amendments, and the introduction of the PPWR directive have created some confusion. Indeed, the European PPWR regulation could prove to be less restrictive regarding the packaging of certain fruits and vegetables.<\/span><\/p>

With 4 million euro invested in our manufacturing facility, we have a production capacity of 25 million units. In 2024, our production is expected to be around 8 to 10 million products. Therefore, our lines will not be running at full capacity.<\/span><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t

Daurema ventured into the molded cellulose sector two years ago, focusing specifically on trays for fruits and vegetables.<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t

This material provides good protection for packaged products by cushioning impacts and <\/span>the products can be custom-made<\/a> according to your needs. <\/span><\/p>\n

At Daurema, we carry out a thermoforming of fibers<\/a> to produce our packaging. It is the most premium technology in this field, allowing the production of more aesthetically pleasing packaging. <\/p>\n

The line is fed with a cellulose pulp. The trays are formed on the line using a mold. To make our pulp, we use fibers from sustainably managed forests or from annual plants. <\/span><\/p>\n

Furthermore, the end-of-life of our product is simplified: a cellulose tray can be recycled through the paper and cardboard stream, or composted at home. <\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t
