Daurema at Prod&Pack 2025: molded cellulose packaging for a more sustainable industry
Daurema, an industrial start-up based in Wattrelos in the Hauts-de-France region, is participating in Prod&Pack 2025 in Lyon to showcase its molded cellulose fiber packaging solutions, a sustainable alternative to plastic and wood.
A must-attend event for packaging innovation
Present at Prod&Pack 2025, the Daurema team is showcasing a range of food packaging, particularly for fresh fruits and vegetables, as well as its custom design capabilities for other sectors (cosmetics, home appliances, luxury, etc.). With its in-house design office, Daurema supports manufacturers from start to finish, from concept to final packaging, developing tailored solutions that meet regulatory requirements.
The molded cellulose packaging offered by Daurema provides numerous benefits for the packaged product ecosystem: they are water- and moisture resistant, food-contact safe, recyclable, and compostable, while remaining fully customizable. By replacing higher-carbon materials, these packages help reduce the overall environmental impact of the packaging chain.
A highlight for expertise
Prod&Pack has become a must attend event for processing and packaging professionals looking to discover the latest innovations in equipment and sustainable solutions. Daurema’s participation in the 2025 edition reflects its ongoing commitment to a more circular industry, as already demonstrated by its presence at other trade shows such as All4Pack, CFIA, and MedFEL.
At the Daurema booth, visitors had the opportunity to discuss their projects with the team, explore samples of molded cellulose packaging, and identify ways to replace plastic or wood in their product lines. The goal is to co-develop with manufacturers solutions that are economical, technical, and sustainable, tailored to the specific requirements of each sector.
